DEADLINE TO FILE COMMENTS TO FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION ON PBMs IS MAY 25TH
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has an opened portal to accept public comments on the pharmacy benefit management market. This is an opportunity for our stakeholders to share with a federal agency information that may have a major impact on decision making. The Federal Trade Commission is an agency that works to promote competition, and protect and educate consumers. Members of the public can comment on any issues or concerns they believe are relevant or appropriate for the agency’s consideration by submitting written data, views, facts, and opinions addressing this subject.
The Florida Pharmacy Association has shared with our members over the years considerable information on the PBM market and how it has impacted the profession and business of pharmacy. The FPA web site has a wealth of information at your disposal to file your comments. Visit our Empower Patients portal on FloridaPharmacy.org to gather information to file your comments to the FTC. Remember, the deadline is tomorrow (May 25, 2022).
