The Florida Pharmacy Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Contact hours are available upon successful completion of attendance and evaluation forms. Universal Activity Numbers (UAN) will be listed on the brochure. Statements of continuing education will be published in your online profiles on and available for you to download and print in six-eight weeks.  Courses will be submitted to CE Broker and  CPE Monitor only ONCE within 90 days of the program. This is an ACPE application and knowledge* based activity. Consultant number pending.

The Florida Pharmacy Association is also a Florida Department of Health Approved provider of continuing education and will be reporting to CE Broker.

Hotel Information:  The room reservation cutoff date is Monday, June 1, 2015. You may make your room reservation by clicking this link or calling (904) 940-8000 or (800) 266-9432.   Thereafter rooms will be available based upon available space and rate.  Check-in time is at 4:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM.  Convention hotel guests will have access to complimentary use of the health and fitness center.  Hotel self-parking is complimentary.  Room rates will be $129/night plus tax.  There are no resort fees.

Cancellation Policy: If cancellation is made in writing 30 days prior to the program a refund will be made less a $10 service charge. If cancellation is made 29-10 days prior to the program,a refund will be made, less a $50 service charge. Cancellation requested in writing after that date will result in credit for another FPA CE program. Credits are valid for one year from date of original cancellation.

Policy on Industry Support: The FPA adheres to the US Food and Drug Administrator’s policy on industry supported educational activities. The FDA policy requires, among other things, that we conduct the educational program supported by any corporate educational grants independently and without control by the grantor of the program’s planning, content or execution.Furthermore, the programs must be free of commercial bias for or against any product.

Tax Deduction: The expense of continuing education,when taken to maintain and improve professional skills is tax deductible. Please contact your accountant for complete details.

Golf Outing:
The FPA has arranged for a golf outing for those of our convention participants and guests that wish to play on one of St. Augustine's signature golf courses. Set among pristine lakes, beautiful loblolly pines, and stately oak trees, the King & Bear is a true collaboration of  two of golf's greatest legends, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, with each hole containing characteristics of both players. T-Times are now available though they are limited.  The golf fees are $150 and includes the cart.  The golf event will begin around 7:30 am on Friday, June 26, 2015.  Information about the event and the golf course are available at this link.
