The FPA is pleased to announce that pharmacists won their state elections in California and Arkansas.  Pharmacist Justin Boyd will be a state representative in Arkansas and Jeff Stone will serve in the California Senate.  Travis Fitzwater has been elected state representative for District 49 in Missouri.  While Travis is not a pharmacist he is the son of the Missouri Pharmacy Association executive director Ron Fitzwater.

Pharmacist Leticia Van de Putte who is currently serving as a state senator for Texas was running as Lieutenant Governor.  Though she was not successful on that campaign she will continue to serve in the Texas Senate.
